Voicemail Access and Record Greeting

This guide will walk you through how to access your voicemail box from any device or client and how to record a new voicemail greeting.

Voicemail User

The voicemail user interface map below demonstrates how to access all the voicemail options available to you when dialing into your voicemail from your phone or via an external number. These options will also be available via the desktop/mobile client by dialing *97.

Your ability to access your voicemail through an external number will depend on your account setup. Please contact your account admin for questions.


Access from your phone

In addition to enabling you to take calls from your Desktop, we've included these powerful features:

Step 1: Press the voicemail key on your phone or dial *97 (if dialing *97, you will be prompted to enter the voicemail box number, followed by #).

Step 2: When prompted, enter your password, followed by #.

Step 3: To listen to new messages, press 1. To listen to saved messages, press 2. To record or change your greeting, press 5, then press 1.


Access from an external number

Calling into your direct number, a remote voicemail number, or your company's main menu:

Step 1: Call your direct (or your company's) number from an offnet device.

Step 2: Wait until you hear your voicemail greeting (or your company's greeting), then dial *97.

Step 3: When prompted, enter your mailbox number, followed by #.

Step 4: When prompted, enter your password, followed by #.

Step 5: To listen to new messages, press 1. To listen to saved messages, press 2. To record or change your greeting, press 5, then press 1.


Access from the Unity Connect Desktop Client

Step 1: Log into your Desktop Client with your credentials and account info.

Step 2: Click on Call History from the menu bar on the left.

Step 3: Click on the tab Voicemails under Call history.

Step 4: Click on the Play, Download, or Delete, buttons according to the action you'd like to take.

Step 5: To listen to new messages, press 1. To listen to saved messages, press 2. To record or change your greeting, press 5, then press 1.


Access From Your Mobile Client

Step 1: Log into your Mobile Client with  your credentials and account info.

Step 2: Tap on Calls from the menu bar on the bottom.

Step 3: Tap on the tab Voicemails under Calls.

Step 4: Tap on the voicemail entry that you would like to listen, download, or delete.

Step 5: Tap on the Play, Download, or Delete buttons according to the action you would like to take.
